If a coral dies off...

any chance that dead coral comes back? My frogspawn has almost completely died off from a flourishing and growing coral to next to nothing. If all heads die is it pretty much just garbage now?

Yeah, mine never came back. You could just leave the skeleton in the tank for a couple weeks and see if it bounces back, but I doubt it, usually once an LPS starts heading downhill, there's not much you can do to save it. Sorry bro

Most of the time, thats the case. But as long as there is some living flesh, the coral has a chance to come back.

I'd leave the skeleton in there for at least a month after it dies. I've had some amazing things happen with corals I thought were 'dead'.

what could possibly make one coral die and the rest do great? At first I thought it was too much water flow so I moved it, then no matter what I did it was a goner.

Sometimes we forget just how fragile a coral really is.
Sometimes they just die.Who knows.
