Nope, that's a tang of some sort. Can't recall which one off the top my head, but go to Liveaquaria, type "tang" in the search box and it gives you about 40+ types. Pretty sure this one is on the list. (I'm thinking its a blue carribean, but not 100% sure)

Hate to be the bringer of bad news, but the 55 gallon tank will be too small for that fish.
Tangs need much larger tanks than that.

BTW tangs and surgeon fish are the same.

Yup! I realize if you read my reply that says "nope" it looks like I was responding to the surgeonfish comment - I was actually responding to the "triggerfish" title and my post and Marcah's went up at the same time! Sorry 'bout that :)

Definitely a tang of some sort - one that will be too large for a 55 gallon tank

Its an Acanthurus tennenti....Lieutenant tang. Pretty fish.
