I bought this mushroom about a month ago and I forgot what kind it was. Any ideas? And where should I put it? It seems to be ok on the substrate but should I put it on a rock?

Looks like a Yuma and softies like shrooms aren't real light demanding so it should be fine in the sand if that is where you want to keep it.

One thing I have learned, if a coral looks happy where it's at, leave it alone :)

Only put it on a rock if you want that rock to turn into a mass of mushrooms. Those things spread like the plague. I have a rock that's easily the size of a baseball that was completely devoured by mushrooms. It is separated on the substrate all by its lonesome now so they don't take over the tank. We call it mushroom island.
