OK I have been looking for a dif. tank I found on craigs list a 260 gal
5.5 feet in high. It is 4ft long and 19 inches deep. plywood tank she was asking $200 obo

i would pass it up, the lighting you would need would be way too expensive and cleaning would be close to impossible

are you sure they didnt get it mixed up and mean 5.5 feet in width and 19 inches high, or even mean 55 inches tall and not feet

$200 for a 260g is a steal

clean it with a vinegar and water mix

in the go advanced mode of replying there is a paper clip at the top so you can attach pics

OK I got the pics when i calculated it I went with her dimentions now that I see the pics it's not a plywood tank it's all glass and she measured it from the floor to the top not just the tank LOL .. ok so granted if I was going to get this tank I would REMOVE THE TOP .. it looks like a 90 gal to me I might offer her $100-$150 and see what she says what do you all think

another question is it hard to drill a tank?

no I decided to go with the 90 gal that the pet store has it's already drilled reef ready and that way I know what I'm getting it's costing me $300
