Help w/ Protein Skimmer

I bought (I meant to say got, for free) a saltwater tank and it came with a protein skimmer that I have no clue how to hook up or if I even have all of the parts. This is my first saltwater tank so any help would be great. Here is a picture. Thanks!

Hello and welcome! It's missing some parts. Did it come with a pump?

No it didn't. I figured I would need a pump, and was guessing it attached to the larger pipe?

Well, it did come with the return pump but I am guessing that won't help me.

That looks like it might be an airstone driven skimmer, i would probably look into upgrading to a better skimmer. The air stones one work pretty well for a smaller tank, but not so much on the larger ones.
