HELP! Seahorse has stomach bubbles - getting worse. Anyone know what this is?

Hello all,

I've had these seahorses for a couple of months in a separate tank with live rock and some seaweed (and a snail).

Around a month ago I noticed a bubble on the tummy of one of the seahorses. I thought I would just try and keep the aquarium as healthy as possible and since he was still eating very well and hadn't changed his behavior, would see if it got better. It didn't.

I've never seen this before, and the bubbles are multiplying. I have been unable to find anything resembling this online and am at a loss of what I can do.

He is still eating well and doesn't seem unhappy. Can anyone help? I've posted some pictures below.

What size tank is he in? They need to be in a tall tank so they don't get gas bubble disease. What temp do you have them at? What are your parameters? https://www.livingreefs.com/threads/help.39692/#post-540005

Thanks for the link, it looks different to me though. The tank is a tall 40L, temp is 24C, all other parameters normal.
