Help: Need to adjust Ph --or do I?

QT tank ph is 8.4 and hypo-salinity at 1.009. The fish is currently in a tank with ph at 8.2 and hypo-salinity at 1.020. I want to get the fish into the QT with no Ph shock. Slowly acclimate?

I have some Seachem Marine buffer which won't ever raise it over 8.3.

the salinity in the QT is too low to just acclimate the fish at that level id bring it up some first

I would drip acclimate them as a precaution.
