Help id-ing mystery hitchhiker

I've attached a picture of my mystery hitchhiker. I'm new to salt water aquariums and have no idea what this is. I'd appreciate any help you guys can give.

It's attached to the rock. When I look this morning it looked like it had folded up on itself so that its a small rounded cylinder. This made me think it might be a zoanthid or a button polyp. But I havent seen any pictures of ones that are white.

If you're able to get a picture when its retracted that might help us too. My first thought was a paly or button polyp, or a tiny mushroom of some sort. How big is it when its fully open?

It's smaller than a penny. Maybe 2/3rds the size of a penny. I just bought the live rock not quite a week ago and didn't see this little guy when I picked it up.

I bought another peice of live rock out of the same tank from the same vendor and found what I think is another one of these mystery guys. Here is what I hope is a better picture. The darn things are so small and the live rock so craggy that it is difficult for me to get the camera to focus on it.
