Help cooling tank

Hi,

I came home today and the tank temp was over 84f. I want to add a cooling fan, but I am running out of space to clip a fan on the display tank. My question is, would a fan cooling the sump help? I know I really need to be moving the heat away from my lights, but I thought I would ask.

Blowing air over the sump will work just fine, the idea is to make the water evaporate, cooling the tank.
