Is this stuff good for a refugium?

I use it in my refugium. I have alot in there. The only problem is that it can go sexual and turn your water milky white. Two things that will keep this from happening is your refuge lighting needs to be on 24/7 and it needs constant prunning. Dont let it get packed in the refuge.
