getting started

hello i have a lot of equipment but what it would like to know is any reading material or advice here on the first things i should get to get my reef tank started? being that I will have to order everthing I want to waste as little money as posable Thanks Todd

Get a saltwater test kit, like API for starters and a hydrometer till you can get a refractometer. But first read the part about cycling a tank at the top of this forum link.
