Dec 31, 2009 #21 Sunshine Reef enthusiast I have no snails in my freshwater. Every time I put some in there, the Pleco sucks them out. He also ate all my plants. I'll do the black out first. I tested the water, everything is good.

Jan 1, 2010 #23 Rcpilot Reef enthusiast If you're using tap water in the freshwater tank you might check it for nitrates and phosphates. I'd use the RO water if you have it.
