Frag Glueing

It wasn't me!
I have a frag of a Bali Green Slimer I need to re-mount to a piece of live rock. I bought the Loctite Super glue ultra gel. Is this okay to use? Or did I buy the wrong product?

Saltwater makes it cure faster.

Other methods:
Moisture from your breath will cause the outer layer to skin over rapidly. Just don't breath the glue vapors IN. I promise you'll hate it - might even put ya in the hospital. :faint:

If you smoke - take a puff and don't inhale it - as if you were about to blow smoke rings. Just fill your mouth with smoke. Now blow a concentrated stream of smoke - as slow as you can - onto the glue.

LMAO, not real sure Chris, I'm not in the habit of feeling things to see if they get hard. It looked like it set. The frag didn't move at all. I basically did just waht you said, blew on it, let it set for a couple minutes, then carefully put it back in the tank.

Did the glue get hard when you blew on it? :dunno:

If it didn't, he obviously did something wrong!

HAHAHAHAHAH
I feel completely outta my chair when I read those.

All I use is the Loctite gel. I just squirt it on, and put it underwater and hold it for a few seconds. The water seems to form an instant harder shell, then the inside of the glob hardens about a minute later. Not so tough to deal with once you get the hang of it ;)

Did you possibly nick it with one of your teeth? Because I hear that will make a SPS go soft real quick...Unfortunately, I can't get any hard corals because I'm married. WTF!
