FOODS AND FEEDING - Vitamin Enriched live brine shrimp, clam on the half shell, mashed squid or shrimp on a bleached stony coral skeleton. Once eating, crustacean flesh, mysid shrimp, frozen preparations for carnivores. Food must be finely chopped, feed min. 3 times a day.
AQUARIUM SUITABILITY - 1
REEF COMPATIBILITY - Will eat stony coral and gorgonian polyps.
CAPTIVE CARE - Difficult to get to feed, Keep with peaceful tankmates that will not compete for food. Male/Female pair can be kept together, members of the same sex most likely will quarrel. Mostly peaceful towards other tankmates except other butterfly fish. Juveniles have two eyespots on the back of the body and dorsal fin until they reach 1 inch (3 cm) in length.
