Looks like a pest anemone...an aiptasia(sp).

Yes, its aiptasia, kill is ASAP with some Aiptasia X

Well if it's like what I have, I kind of don't think it's aiptasia. Mine if i turn on the lights for my sump it shrinks and hides, and it's attached to the glass on the bottom.

I've had aiptasia in my tank before and that doesn't look like it. Besides why would it try to hide when the lights came on?

It rides in on frags and cheato...

Better kill it, they spread fast.

They are also called "glass anemones". I agree -- it's a pest.

That is aptasia. They come in many different shapes and sizes and react differently to different stimuli ime. I had aptasia that loved light and grew right next to my sps.

Kill them fast and agressively becasue they multiply expoentiallly.

The Lionfish problem in Florida is another invasive example that comes to mind...
