Flower thing

So I just looked at my live rock after scraping off some red algae, and I noticed this thing that looks like a little flower, just wondering what it is. Thanks

They are a good filter feeder you will end up having those everywhere. I think you should still post a picture to make sure it isn't aptesia.

A flower like thing describes a lot of things.....aiptasia,majano,feather duster,zoanthids etc.We really need a better decription and a pic will help tremendously.
