Fish swim in front of the tank

I have just about equal amount of space in front of the tank and behind the rocks. The fish mostly like to swim in front of the tank even nobody is around. Quite interesting.

somethings different, they can see a diff in the light, or theres flow that they like there more than around back, somethings gotta be different, heck maybe your lights arent even?

true true, is your tank backed up near a wall? maybe they dont like the paint color...

mine are all over the place, but if you walk by the tank then they all come to see you...

yea, it's against a wall in green. The color blends in quite nicely, but a wall is a wall. I guess they like the open space view better.

I dont leave it to chance. I have all my LR on the back glass to force them to swim out front.

hehe. I'm been doing another round of 50% water change and remove more sand tonight after the light is out.
