Film on top of tank ??

HI all,
I have never had this before. We did a 250 lt water change 2 days ago, also changed our carbon & phos reactors.
Since then I have had this yukky film of crap on top of the water, it looks like an oil slick ?

I have never had this before ? Any ideas what it is or how to get rid of it ?
I have not changed the flow I have always used,
2 x Tunze 6105's 15000lt/h
2 x tunze 6055's 10000/h
Full lentgth (61/2 feet) animal bean silent set up.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Either bacteria bloom or media from the phosphate reactor. I would think it would go away with that flow.

It's been 2 days now ? It doesn't seem to be getting any less ? I did run rowaphos through reactor in rodi until it ran clear before putting back on tank. It honestly look like an oil slick very strange ! Any suggestions if it doesn't clear in the next 24 hours ? Thanks

I had a similar issue and just pointed my powerheads towards the surface more for a bit until it cleared.

More surface agitation will force the film into your overflow. This is actually quite common in tanks that do not have sufficient surface movement.
