Feader shrimp question

I think you could raise them, but you'd have to watch out for any filtration that might kill the babies. Are you talking about ghost shrimp?

I want a lion fish and some other predator fish. I thought it would be kinda cool to raise the food for them instead of buying it all the time.

I thought about that too. Its hard to choose between a community tank and a predator one. They both have their own awesomeness.

The 55g tank I have will be the predator tank for now. We actually plan on upgrading it to 120 or so later. The 180 will be our community/reef tank. We have an extra 55 just laying around, that is what I thought about making into my "food" tank lol

The issue with that is the feeder shrimp are not very nutritious are you really should be feeding them only that, as an occasional treat its just fine though.

But it can be kinda difficult to raise the larva, they breed easily, but raising the babies is the tricky part.

What happens if you can't get them to eat frozen food?
