I failed Kobayashi Maru
Anyone hear anything about the Eshopps skimmer? Not their cone version, just the original version. That's one that my lfs will be testing in their shops to see how well they do.

I've heard some good things about their PSK model skimmers. Eshopps donated a PSK-300 for our upcoming swap. The skimmer looks really well built, and it's HUGE.

I failed Kobayashi Maru
Yeah. I'm taking my time w/ the skimmer. I had my heart set on an Octopus because it's a tried-and-tested brand (same reason I was dead set on a mag drive). But since I'm in no rush to get a skimmer, I decided to see what else is out there....that doesn't break my wallet. My lfs suggested since I plan to have a reef, I need to get one rated for 300-400 gallons. The one I was eyeing at the store was rated for 200 g. What do you guys think?

Rated at 200 gallons,should do good on your 125.But I'd say 300 to 400 would be better:D
