Ya I knew you werent in prison...This is the second light that you have had like this isnt it? Off the top of my head...maybe it is over powering the fixture...I know you tried a couple of different ones..does the bulb recommend a certain wattage fixture? Other then that then its a bad bulb or a short in the bulb (which I guess would be a bad bulb) I would need to look more into the specifics of the bulb before I could give any further guesses...
