Emperor 400b

So I just a bought a used 90 gallon salt water tank and I just set it back up. Now I viewed the tank the prior night running with two Emperor 400b filters. I cleaned them out and now one is really loud and spits water out very fast and evenly. But the biowheel does not spin nor shoot water through it
The second filter is quiet and water only comes out the biowheel but its a slow water fall.

Any ideas what happend? I looked up the instructions and it seems to be constructed properly but maybe its not. I'm up for any suggestions and tests, I've spent a couple hours already tinkering around and am getting annoyed.

okay I got the other one working but the rate of flow for both of them still seems inconsistent and not uniformed fall. the propeller was not sitting correctly in the shaft.

Hello and Welcome to the site!!

If you are planning on doing a reef you would be much better off getting yourself a good skimmer. Those canister filters are a freshwater technology that doesnt translate well to saltwater.

Yeah I finally got them to work properly after some tinkering and a long break to catch my patience.
I still do not like the amount of noise on them compared to my whisper on my 20 gallon tank.

i had the same problem you gotta make sure everything is seated perfectly or its super super noisy. sounds like you got it!
