REEF COMPATIBILITY - No
CAPTIVE CARE – This is semi-aggressive fish and should not be kept with docile fish as an adult. As an adult it will lose the attractive appendages and develop a beautiful checkered patten. It will fight with other members of its species. It requires a 4 inch sand bed to sleep and its known for rearranging the rockwork of its home so be sure that your rockwork is secure from rockslides. Wrasses are known jumpers so the aquarium top should be covered.
