Do theese parameters sound normal???

I had red sea and ran into issues where the tests didn't match the strips I used and weren't consistent. I also had a horrible experience with Mardel strips. The Mardel ammonia test told me I went from 0ppm to 6.0ppm within one hour of testing...

I switched the Salifert - they have amazing accuracy; not to mention their color change and effect is so obvious and dramatic. They're definitely pricier and slightly more complex - only so far as they have a few additiona steps when mixing reagents - but they are well worth it and incredibly sensitive.

I use API also. Convenient to purchase - most Petsmart have them.

API are good for the price. I use those and Salifert. Strangely, I've never had a problem with Red Sea tests.

I also use API test kits but I wouldn't buy them from PetSmart or PetCo just because of the price. The saltwater and reef kits are each $40 at stores by my house and they are only $22 at MarineDepot.

I also seem to use my Calcium Test Kit up the fastest and PetCo and PetSmart don't normally sell them seperate and MarineDepot has them.
