difference in Ca tests

Have 2 kits. Tropic calcium/magnesium test said my calcium level was at 380 while my API test kit was around 340. The Tropic kit uses syringes while API uses drop counts. Which one is more accurate?

Taking into account the "noise" in our hobby grade test kits, I would probably put your actually level somewhere between those readings. I don't use either of those, but some test kits only read in increments of 10-20ppm....so they are probably close.

I prefer Salifert for all of my more important tests, such as calcium, alkalinity and phosphate. I have found this kit to be the most accurate and easy to read.
