Dead or in Shock?

How long after receiving new snails should they be moving around? Thursday night I received an order of cerith and nass snails. I read that the cerith may be dormant for up to 3 days but a lot of the nass snails arent moving yet either.

Pull them out, and you will know in less than a tenth of second if they are dead or not.

How so? They smell that bad if they are dead? or they will move?

LMAO, unless you are running bio pellets and a heavy Skimmer. Then it may smell like candy.

Will smell like rotten bacon wrapped in sewage wrapped in tuna fish put in a gym sock dunked in lard smothered in snot left out in the sun for 3 weeks deep fried and ran thru a food processor. Not kidding.
