Curing rock...

So I was at my LFS today and I bought this rock. It used to be a reef rock but now it's dead and dry. Do I need to soak this baby or can I put it in my tank? It's about 6 lbs.

I think its just like base rock at this point and you can put it right into your tank. Don't trust me on this one, but that's just what I think. You'll get the right answer shortly...as you know.

if its all dry and nothing to die of. then your ok to just put it straight in..
