CPR skimmer?

My LFS recommended a CPR SR3 skimmer for my 29g biocube... anyone know anything about this specific skimmer, or at least the brand? Just don't want to waste my cash on something I'll have to replace later...

in my opinion it looks like a peice of crap(just like a bak-pak) you can get a much better skimmer for about the same cost. check out this one

hmm... the problem with those ones is, my biocube's lid doesn't have a 5.25" opening it can go into. HOB skimmers probably won't fit with my tank lid, unless there's one that only needs an opening appx 2" wide :)

take the lid off so you can upgrade the lighting and get a good skimmer, win win

that is what i would do that way you can get better lights and a goo skimmer
