Corals + Lighting

Ok. so I am familiar with the terms, low moderate high etc. when it comes to lighting. But what do the terms actually refer to? How much is moderate? My polyps require low medium lighting, does this mean bottom to middle of tank etc?

I guess it all depends on what light people are usinWhen I think of moderate lighting,low to bottom for MH,middle for T5-HO and near the top for PC.

Low lighting would be shaded under MH,bottom for T5 and mid level for PC.
