Coraline algae?

I'm starting to get little round white spots in the tank. Most are around the edges of the overflow, the rest are on mostly vertical surfaces of the rock and even a few on two turbo snails. Is this some kind of coraline algae or a bug? I couldn't get a clear closeup of the ones on the rock. You can see them a little better on the snail.
