coralife bulbs

i bought 2 coralife actinic bulbs over the weekend and they both burnt out after 4 days. any one have any ideas why?

Possibly a bad ballast. Were they on the same ballast or are any other lights on that ballast?

they were on the same ballast but i move bulbs around

I don't know Emmett? Maybe check your ground? If the ballast is powering your other lights without issues I don't know what else to tell you.

i have 2 cheap 10,000k bulbs im going to put back in and see what happens if they dont burn out then im at a loss

Did you order the bulbs or get them from a LFS?

well i put to bulbs bulbs in that came with the light so ill see what happens so far they are working

I'm thinking they were old or miss handled at the store.

im sure he had them for awhile i hope he will replace them

I'm with salt, bad ballast or a bad ground. Omer used to be particular to a fault with his bulbs. If the box was dropped or mishandled they could have been damaged that way.

well its day 4 with the 10,000k bulbs still working so im going to say they were bad bulbs

day #6 and the 10,000k bulbs are still working :thumbsup:

and the LFS is replacing the bulbs so im waiting till i get both of them he had one and had to order another witch should be here friday
