HI, added an abalone to the tank today and the copperband spent nearly all day checking him out, he wasn't quite sure about this new creature invading his tank. lol
He has been out and about lots today, very pretty really.

Easy to get and not illegal in Australia ? Wow I am surprised to hear you cant get them in US. ?

From what i've heard people are hoarding them for pearl farming and it caused this. I may be wrong though.

That is terrible if its true. I know we can eat them in most restaurants here. they might be hoarding them but I dont think its for oysters, dont pearls come from oysters ?
