FOODS AND FEEDING - Marine fish, crustacean flesh, mysid shrimp, frozen preparations, feed min. 3 times a day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - A nipper of many sessile invertebrates on live rock, and will damage some soft corals and most stony corals.
CAPTIVE CARE - Can fare well in captivity, sensitive to acclimation, eats coral polyps and some individuals refuse to accept alternative foods. Smaller specimens prove harder to feed select specimens over 3" (8 cm) in length. Will not feed for several days in a new tank. Keep only one per tank, if more than one is kept add at same time to a larger system only. Adults need plenty of swimming room.
