coco worm

My coco worm has lost one of its "fans" im not exactly sure what ripped it off or if it merely shed one of its crowns. I was wondering if you think it will make it. The remaining crown is still full and healthy looking.

Should i attempt to spot feed it some phyto plankton? or should i just leave it be and hope it grows back?

when one of my costomers had one get hurt by a rock falling on it i told him to spot feed it and he said it grew back perty quick. so i say if you have a sea squirt than have fun and squirt it some food.
