today i went to empty my collection cup for my skimmer and the refug in my sump i noticed had grown ALOT of algae. in about a weeks time, it has cyno, hair algae and i think red slime, also has some of biffs amazing chaeto which is growing like a weed, but there is only a little tiny bit of hair algae in the main display but its disappearing.
my question is, should i clean the refug or should i just keep all the algae in there, as long as it doesnt spread, to any other areas.
