Cathics 75g Build

Alright I'll go ahead with the start of the stand build

Materials needed, a box of deck screws preferably #10's and 2 1/2 in
you will need 10 equal length 2x4's of the preferable height you want your stand, I chose 40in. Note: 2x4's are sold in 8 10 12 and 14 ft lengths ask them for the appropriate size to minimize waste and also have them cut these for you.

you will need 8 2x6 boards these are sold in the same lengths as 2x4 for the dimensions you will need to take your tank length and then add 1/4 of an inch for some wiggle room. My tank was was 48 1/2 inches long and 18 1/2 in deep so I had my 2x6's cut to 48 3/4 and 18 3/4 in, you will need 4 boards ea of the dimensions of your tank, so 4 long one and 4 short ones.

A power drill will be needed. make sure when you buy deck screws you get a square head and a bit to match for the drill. This isnt required but it will make it easy to screw as square heads tend to lose grip less easy.

BL1, Yeah still the Odyssea's I want their new version of the lights. Ill get some better photos up when im done cleaning it, today was just a rework of the rock.

"everyone go comment on my tank, make me feel like the god of my aquarium."

Hahaha this is my comment!!"

Yeah the legs dont overhang, and have a better set of led and ballasts as well as reflectors, the night light leds are spaced properly and there are 4 sets instead of 3

Like I said already... LOVE the pillars.

And sa-weet frags! (Feel free to read this in my "midwestern" accent, by the way).

I like your rockwork! I just bought the Odyssea Metal Halide system and 4 days after setting it up the dang ballast wont work. It makes an dull alarm kind of sound. :(
