blasto placement

I am curious about whether it would be best to put my blasto rock under a crevice for indirect light or on the sand bed in full light, but at the bottom of the tank. what has been the experience of those of you who have kept blastos successfully?

Are you running T-5s on that tank?If so,I'd start them kinda in a shady spot and move them out to more light a little at a time.

Yes, I run T-5s. I started them on the bottom and then put them in a half-cave where they only get indirect light. I am not seeing the growth that I want nor are the polyps opening all the way. I may try them out in the open for a while to see what happens.
