ANOTHER skimmer question.......?

ok I am just about ready to start building my new acrylic sump. my question---for the skimmer compartment what should I have the water level at. I know the skimmer is adjustable but is it better one way or the other to have the level towards the higher end of the adjustment or to the lower end.
Im wondering if the pump has to work harder one way or the other.

I would do some research on the skimmer you are going to have . The specs. will tell you what is the recommended height of water the skimmer will work best in, and set your baffles at that

From wjat ive read its usually about 8-10 inches but yeas read the specs.
