I finally got to upgrade my lights this weekend with a hagen glo t5 setup and wow what a difference that it makes. Got it on sale:twocents: at the lfs, also picked up a coralife super skimmer 33000. Very happy with these guys in alabama http://www.coralreefaquatics.com/ check them out if you want. :bounce:

almost forgot here is a picture of my tank its only 1 month old so not much to look at as far a live stock but it does have 5 snails 4 crabs 2 peppermint shrimp(thing one and thing 2) and 1 coral banded shrimp(bandit) and 50 lbs of live rock with lots of good hitch hickers.

Sounds like the gig is up, she has figured out this is not like buying some of those freshwater fish from Wally World and throwing them in a tank with some water from the faucet. Laying low for a bit :D and knocking out a few things on the honeydew list would be a good idea. But looking at your other hobbies/interest I'd assume you know the drill. ;)

oh yea, very familiar with the chill holding patern.. good thing for me is that shes gonna be outta town this weekend, so i can get a few things done...

funny thing is that she was the one that found this tank and told me about it.. and i told her that it would be expensive to get it up and running, and then things might settle down a little, she said, "oh thats fine" i just giggled and said go for it then... i think she's finally realizing what i ment.
