Alkalinity Testing values...?

Big K

Hello! I've just gotten a BRS two-part dosing kit to bring my Alk back into line and am wondering about the parameter values.

My test kit (Nutrafin) shows the Alk in mg/L and the BRS system uses dKH. Is there a way to convert these numbers?

I am having trouble because I can dose using the calculator but have no way to test using dKH.

I am concerned because they recommend not raising the levels more than .5 meq/lt (I have no idea what this is...lol) or 1.4 dKH in a day but don't have an amount in ppm to go by.
