Algae having algae

A K1 is way to much for even a 10G fuge. I would get a lil powerhead from Petsmart.

I have a hob penguin...it might work. I'll just have to play with it I guess.

lol sorry. Post a pick when you get that powerhead in there. I think that is the answer to managing the algae on algae action. I just tried a 700 gph one in my 14 gallon fuge. Not a good idea. So Im going to petsmart.

Biff's magical chaeto seems to be workin' its magic in my tank after all ;) My nitrates are FINALLY down to 5 ppm! It helped to put them in a very high flow area of the sump. Today, I'm going to scrub down my fuge tank again, find ways to add more flow to it, and give it another go. My pod population in that fuge is pretty much null. It's like starting from scratch!
