Adding Fish

I bought an established aquarium that had a emerald crab a couple hurmits and a couple of snails. Also has two damsels. Relocated to my house and set up with all the same water. Question is how long before I can add new fish and transplant the damsels in my 75g to test that water. I want some clowns in my 30g fowler. i plan to leave the damsels out of the 30g.

I don’t understand. You mean your Damsels are chemists? Or you just want to sacrifice them to check the water in the 75 gal?

Thats what they recomended at the LFS. Dont want the damsels in the FOWLR tank. Since I am limited on the number of fish I can put into my 30g.

Wait until the tank cycles completely before moving the damsels over.
