A paint question

I am going to paint the back of my tank black but I dont know if flat black is what I should go with or gloss. Does it matter?

i doubt it matters since it wont show glossy on the inside back of the tank,and you wont be looking at the back of the tank for that to matter as much either,i would say you could use either or,but cover the top of the tank so no overspray ends up inside the tank since i dont think its fish safe
