55 Gallon FOWLR Tank help

Hi everyone, I just got a 55 gallon tank for christmas that comes with filter, heater, lights, etc. I have a 19 G freshwater tank right now, and my 55 G i want to make a saltwater FOWLR tank. Since im new to saltwater, i dont want to do any reefs just so i can get used to the care.

Can any of you recommend how to set this tank up without a sump? (i dont have the funds right now for a sump)

also if you have any recomendations on how i should stock it. Im thinking a flame angel, maybe a yellow tang, 2 clowns, 2 chromis and a clean up crew.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

I have a 46G without a sump, but if you want to be successful you have to stick to your water changes every week. I think your fish list is good except for the tang, they need a lot of space to swim.

I would recommended getting fish that are reef safe in case you end up getting into corals.
