    Just thinking. . .

The puffer would definitely go for any vulnerable crustacean sooner or later. Its just in their nature. Its just best to not risk wasting money on puffer food. Urchins are too hard to take care of. If your water quality is bad you'll find the urchin loosing spines.

    HOB filter 10 gallon

Macroalgae is a beneficial algae for saltwater tanks. It helps reduce nutrients in your tank. If your LFS has some I'd suggest checking it out. With a 10 gallon tank though you might just be well off doing water changes and having good live rock.

    Just thinking. . .

I'd go for a longspine urchin. I can't really think of anything else that could defend itself from puffers.

    HOB filter 10 gallon

You can drop in some pieces of live rock or even macroalgae if you'd like. Just make sure to put a little light above it if you do.

Dang $90! The wholesalers here have them for like $23. I also vote for the chromis. Very underrated fish.

I'd say its on par with instant ocean. I did have some instant ocean brick up a bit since I didn't close it well.

    Hyposalinity Treatment for Ich

True. I guess it would be easier to just take out my live rock and few inverts I have. Could I leave the sand in? I guess I would also need a sponge filter of some kind also?

    Hyposalinity Treatment for Ich

This is great. I'm still debating on whether to do this or just feed the fish through the ich. It seems all the fish are happy, but I'd really like all the ich to be gone for sure.

    To Many Zoas

You can frag them and give them to me. I'll help you in your time of need! Jk, but you can cut the carpet of the zoas and pull them off in bunches. You could try trading them at your LFS!

    new tank...30g

The thing about a predator tank is that you would need to stock it in a very precise manner. When you want to add a fish there will be a big chance that the new fish may die and then you'll be out of luck. You might be upset that anything you put in the tank will quickly be harassed and you may...

    Blue Treasure Salt Mix

I'm leaning towards the blue treasure mix. It dissolves really fast and I noticed some times that I had to pour a lot of instant ocean to get the salinity right. It's early to tell how good it is, but for my FOWLR it's doing well.
