How long can saltwater sit?
You should be able to use it indefinitely unless it is somewhat contaminated, just make sure there is water movement (stirring). But if you use a salt without vitamins or other organic additives, you can store it unstirred if you want.- rems

Thinking of setting up a saltwater tank, and have a few questions.
I am new to the hobby and I have a 20 gallon tank so there's no reason that you shouldn't be able to do that too! Just make sure you do plenty of research and BUY BOOKS! Good luck!- rems

It is beautiful. Will the leather coral and xenia get along? Do you have a starter book on corals you would recommend? -

Well I have light where I can add more light and that's what I am planning to do. For now I just have a standard white and blue light. But as soon as I decide on which corals I want I am going to buy more light. Yes I keep reading on how xenia are like "weeds", not sure if I want to start out... -
