Can i use a Tetra FS30-60 Power filter in a saltwater Tank?

Look at the instructions and see if it's OK to use with saltwater setups. HOB filters are OK but lots of people will suggest having a sump in the near future. You can buy or build one yourself. Look at the forum titled "DIY". I currently have a HOB but I am in the process of building my own...

Your acclimation time was too short for your fish. I would suggest 1-2 hours of acclimation depending on the type of livestock. Liveaquria.com has this good article on acclimating fish and other livestock: http://www.liveaquaria.com/PIC/article.cfm?aid=157 Also, when was the last time you did...

    What is this?

It just depends on whether you feel you have use for them in your tank or not. They can be part of your clean up crew but some people prefer not to have these worms in their tanks.

    First tank help plz

I started out with a 5 gallon 5 yrs ago and 2 blue damsels. You should be ok with just a good water filter and air pump. I would also do a small amount of live or dry rock along with sand to help with the biological filtration.
