    Gold Assessor

I know. What a wuss. Actually, I'd love to cyonvert my 20 gallon freshwater (yawn) into a little peaceful salt tank. Put the assessor, the watchman, the little banggai in there, all the little wusses.

    Gold Assessor

I've had one for a long time now, he's sort of boring. Hides a lot. My clown and flame angel dive bomb him when he makes an appearance. They're all different. :)

    Sarah's new 60 gallon!

Heyyyyyy guys! Update. My Marineland led light is done for. Fried. It's hard cause it's so close to the water and humidity and lights just kept going out. And finally, nothing. I have 1 Kessil A350W now and it is NOT enough for a 4 foot tank, that's for sure! So, I guess I have to spend another...

    ZyberGobys 90 build has begun!!!

100 hermits?? Daaaaamn Kurt! Crab-a-palooza! Tank looks wonderful, hard work really paying off. I've tried sleeper gobies twice. Hands down was my favorite fish, each time they stripped the sandbed and starved. Very, very fun fish. Hope yours works out for you.

HELP! Seahorse has stomach bubbles - getting worse. Anyone know what this is?

What size tank is he in? They need to be in a tall tank so they don't get gas bubble disease. What temp do you have them at? What are your parameters? https://www.livingreefs.com/threads/help.39692/#post-540005 Here is a thread with a picture and some contact info.

    Another Wish List!

I believe if they are from different families it will be ok. Like maybe a bristletooth tang. Different family. My sixline was the only fish in my 60 for a while, he is the sweetest fish ever and he is huge now. Has never harassed a fish, he ignored each new addition. You just never know what...

    Sarah's new 60 gallon!

Mmmm, I believe outback is having an all you can eat shrimp fest. You order a steak. They bring you 4 shrimp with it. You eat them and say you want more. You wait 20 minutes. You get 4 more shrimp. You get bored. You leave. It's' genius. It's not all you can eat, it's all you have time for. Rest...

    Sarah's new 60 gallon!

My shrimp is gone. He's up in that shrimp heaven in the sky. I've had him since my biocube, Feb 2011. He was huge. I feel like I'm writing a pathetic eulogy here. Is that spelled right? Listen, I can't be bothered with spelling right now, I'm grieving. Huge piece of shrimp meat in the tank...

    Whats Next?

Sakura slow your roll yo, NOBODY disagrees with me. haha. Anywhoozle. Dwarf angels stay small and would have no trouble in a 55 gallon. That's ridiculous. Many, many of us keep them and they are very happy. I've had a flame angel in my 60 for, a year and a half? Also, yes, there are sand...

    My poor fishies

There is always a need to list parameters. That is the protocol on this site. There is even a sticky about it. We can then troubleshoot the situation in an educated and informed manner AND help spot any additional problems.

    My poor fishies

I'm sorry for your fish losses :( 4 fish is a lot for a 20 gallon tank. 1 + Diggler, water parameters are needed and we need to know what you have living in the tank (or did) how long the tank has been set up, what kind of anemone, etc. Why do you believe it to be ich? Do you have pictures?

    Whats Next?

You have a 55 gallon right? I'd scope out some fish selling sites to see what fish you like. I'd start adding the most peaceful ones from that list first, one at a time, every 2-3 weeks, maybe in the next week or so here as the maroon will start to become established. Maybe a goby or blenny, a...

CUC advice for 55L nano cube

Hermits are supposedly good for hair algae. I have 3 hermits in my 60 and they do eat snails but leave my cleaner shrimp alone. You'll get small hermits and it'll be a loooooong time before they grow. I can't imagine my hermits getting big enough to take down my shrimp. So, you can grab a...

    Whats Next?

Lots of reef safe fish. Not sure of your tank size. Check out liveaquaria's site. SOOOO much fun to browse for fish and inverts there. You can add corals anytime now. Start with some forgiving corals, mushrooms, zoas, any soft coral really. Coraline algae, now that depends, did you buy rock with...
