In my personal opinion, they would not do well in a reef environment and would die pretty quick. Temperature would be a problem, and the fact that they are burrowing filter feeders, whom dont spend all their time underwater, but mostly on the shore, would come into conflict in having them just...

They are little hard shelled fan worms, harmless filter feeder. Bitch to get off without a scraper or something.

Might be an extension for light. Where abouts do you have them? Low, high? Amount of flow? Are they dying, or are you just curious?

+1 To these guys. Some think them good, others think they munch on corals.

Go out and touch a Fieeworm or Fire coral. Now they hurt. Some people are more resilient than other I guess.
