what the hell is my red Goni doing ????

A red goni I have had forever, flourishing suddenly looks like this ?
Was fine yesterday, open etc but got home from work today and this is what he looks like ?
Is he just trying to grow to the next rock or is he sick, has anyone seen them do this before.
Before you ask parameters are correct and stable so i know that's not a problem.

Those will continue to grow heads and get larger until they split from the mother colony, congratulations your having babies.

I am 90% sure ( I mean it is a Goni) but I have a few friends that have had this happen. Just let it do its thing and seporate when it wants to it may take some time.

Bubble corals will drop off little 2cm daughters from the bottom. I freaked out the first time it happened.
